How to get an accurate reading
- Park on level ground with the engine running and the brakes released.
- On air ride, briefly deflate the suspension and inflate it back to ride height before you read the weight.
- If you calibrated with a lift axle up, read the weight with it up.
Calibrate empty and loaded on the same certified scale, because the on-board scale can only be as accurate as the scale it was calibrated on.
Warranty and registration
New scale kits carry a 3-year limited warranty. Parts and accessories sold separately carry 1 year, and repaired or refurbished items carry 90 days.
